Liz’s career began in London with her own corporate hospitality business. She then launched into PR in the 80s, based in London’s Sloane Street.

A move to Dorset in 1994 was followed by 8 years at the Guild of Fine Food as sales director, developing initiatives to support food producers and independent retailers. In 2004 Liz became sales & marketing director with Dorset speciality food brand Olives Et Al. Then in 2007 she launched her own food marketing consultancy, Ideas on Food, taking on a non-executive directorship with Cornish Sea Salt for two years.

With an expanding range of clients the business became Ideas on Marketing in 2019. 


Liz offers a hands-on approach. She thinks of great new ideas for products and projects, writes copy for websites, advertisements, features and everything in between. She is also a skilled social media marketer.

Last, but not least, Liz loves battenburg cake and beetroot. But not together. Yet.
