Liz’s career began in London with her own corporate hospitality business. She then launched into PR in the 80s, based in London’s Sloane Street.

A move to Dorset in 1994 was followed by 8 years at the Guild of Fine Food as sales director, developing initiatives to support food producers and independent retailers. In 2004 Liz became sales & marketing director with Dorset speciality food brand Olives Et Al. Then in 2007 she launched her own food marketing consultancy, Ideas on Food, becoming Ideas on Marketing in 2019. taking on a non-executive directorship with Cornish Sea Salt for two years. 

In 2020 Liz accepted a new full time communications role in politics and is not accepting any new marketing client referrals.


Liz offers a hands-on approach. She thinks of great new ideas for products and projects, writes copy for websites, advertisements, features and everything in between. She is also a skilled social media marketer.

Last, but not least, Liz loves battenburg cake and beetroot. But not together. Yet.
